How to create a photo of a model to upload it to the Community

9 0 Beginner
I have seen that some new engineers who enter the GrabCAD community do not pay attention to how they should record and upload the files to the community, ie they do not read the tutorials first; This is why I have decided to make a small and simple, but not less important tutorial, so that in a simple and practical way you can create the photo that you like best and as it looks better in the eyes of the entire community, this with the Purpose that can be valued and appreciated by everyone, and thus avoid this message that gives the system when a file can not see anyone in the community except YOU! "GrabCAD is not able to view this model"

Attach a document to a Part

1 0 Beginner
Hi Everyone, In this new 2-min tuto, you will learn how to attach a document to a part in the 3DExperience. In that case, you will print a drawing into a PDF then import and attach the PDF document to the part. This could be done with any type of document. To do so, you need to EXPLORE the part, browse a document on your local machine and attach it. Once uploaded, you can open it or download it. This demonstration is performed on 3DExperience R21x On Cloud. Please Like, Comment, Share and Subscribe ;)

How to upload files to GrabCAD Workbench?

1 1 Beginner
Here is how I created a new Workbench project and a few different ways I uploaded SolidWorks files. This is was also my first time using the upload folders option so I came across a few bugs that I am sure will be worked out but they are not a big deal. Please feel free to leave comments if this worked for you or if you have a different or better way to do it. I will tell you how to start your Workbench project and upload SolidWorks files. I am assuming you know how to create your files. For this tutorial, I will upload a .zip file containing all of the part and assembly files. You can make this many ways but one of the best ways is to use the Pack-and-Go option in SW. Many other CAD programs have a similar option and this makes sure all the required files are included.

Tutorial : How to upload assembly files which contain more than one part ?

0 0 Beginner
Firstly its important to understand that assembly files are all linked to the part files. These files do not hold all the information of the individual parts. When opened an assembly file searches for the part files linked to it and draws information from it. So in case you have uploaded an assembly file alone, the assembly doesn't get the info it needs and hence doesn't work! The process is quite simple, but the aim of this tutorial is to make people realize how important it is to avoid making this error.
