Learning PTC Creo can be fairly involved. In this tutorial, you will be guided along the process of assembling a cam and follower. You can make your own parts, or access all of them here: https://grabcad.com/library/sheetmetal-cnc-cam-and-follower-1 If you have any questions or comments, let me know! (This is the 4th and final video of the CAM and follower tutorial project series)

Dynamic analysis in Creo Mechanism

In this video tutorial you can find one answered question: I would like to solve in Creo Mechanism. As You can see in the picture that I attached, there is one body (object 1) which is supported on three feets. Another body (object 2) moves in one direction (along x-axis) on guides that are mounted on object 1. My problem is to set proper connection between feets and object 1 and object 2, which would allow me to measure force reaction change in each feet, while movement of object 2. Is it possible to do such a simulation in creo? My answer is... try to check my video :)

Rigid vs. Weld connection

0 0 Beginner
In this tutorial, you can learn the differences between Rigid connection and Weld connection. Note: Adding a rigid connection to a second component of the sub-assembly has eliminated the motion - these surfaces cannot be coincident. To assemble this sub-assembly and maintain its motion - the Weld connection set should be used.
