Step 1:
Open mechanical workbench

Step 2:
Invoke a sketch on xy plane .

Step 3:
Draw a hexagon as shown and keep the topmost part horizontal

Step 4:
Draw a circle in the same sketch and give the dimensions.

Step 5:
Exit the sketch and pad it with "mirrored" extent.

Step 6:
Select zx plane and invoke sketch.

Step 7:
Draw a sketch as shown in the figure

Step 8:
Mirror the sketch about the horizontal axis and exit the sketch

Step 9:
Groove the sketch with the vertical axis as the axis of rotation.

Step 10:
Here you have your hexagonal nut.
