I figured that you asked about these because you're worried that your precious thesis file that you put in so much effort will be lost. Luckily all design files from f360 is saved in the cloud (internet connection required). So there's pretty much nothing to worry about. Anyhow, here's a quick tutorial on how to save your f360 design file on your local storage as a safety precaution.

The default Fusion 360 has "PAN" option when you click the middle button of the mouse. If you want to rotate you have to go and select the "ORBIT" icon at the bottom of the screen. This kind of interface makes it somewhat difficult to execute as one has to frequently rotate the model to get an overview of the model being constructed. How to FDM Print for Part Sliding Clearance

If you are 3D printing parts that have to fit/slide together after printing, you will need to put some sort of clearance between those parts in your CAD system. A good starting place is a clearance 2x the layer height you are going to print at, but you should make a few smaller test prints at different clearances to see if the 2x layer height rule holds for your particular situation and orientation.
