How to Change Sketchup Shortcut
This tutorial will teach you how to change shortcut keys easily and quickly
-
Step 1: Step 1
How to use shortcuts in Sketchup is quite easy, users just simply press the letter key on the keyboard. One letter only works for one tool. For example when a user presses the letter O, then what will appear is the Orbit command. This also applies if the user presses the letters R, F, P, S, A, and H
-
Step 2: Step 2
First, please open the SketchUp program on your computer / laptop. Next enter the Window menu, then click the Preference menu.
-
Step 3: Step 3
After that, click the Shortcuts menu, then find the tool that you want to replace in the Filters section.
In this example, I want to change the Rotate shortcut to the letter W on the keyboard.
To replace it, write the letter W in the Add Shortcut column then click the plus button (+).
Finally click OK.
Done.
If you want to replace other tools, do the same steps.
