On menu line select EDIT, than on pop-up menu select SEARCH, than go to the tab ADVANCED. On this tab you choose the right parameters: i.e. planes and axis. Selection of more than one parameter must be done with boolean operator "OR". When the parameters are set, then you click SEARCH and after that you click SELECT. Now all desired features are selected and painted in orange (in assembly and in structure tree). Click HIDE command (pop-up menu "view" or icon on toolbar "view") and that's it.

Hello. There is no way to identify the version before you download it, The only way to know the file version is using the "Document Properties" function that can be found in file once you have opened. Regards

This is somewhat related, but I'm not using numbers for the BOM. Instead I'm trying to use balloons to label the top level assemblies AND parts directly. The auto balloon and balloon tool will only pick-up the part names, not the sub-assembly name so I have to annotate these with leaders instead of balloons. Any ideas? Here is what I'm trying to accomplish:

Spine is a curve which profile will be positioned to it perpendicularly. If you select nothing for spine, guide curve accepted as spine. Surfaces can be limited by selecting Rel1 and Rel2. (select points for this) Angular correction and Deviation is used with a tolerance value to deviate and deflect from curves to create a surface with small errors.
