  7. Step 7:

Select the part and click OK.

  8. Step 8:

Now a yellow symbol will appear which will indicate that the material is assigned.

  9. Step 9:

    Insert >> Displacement Constraint.

  10. Step 10:

Select all holes while holding down CTRL key and click OK.

  11. Step 11:

Now all the holes are fixed.

  12. Step 12:

Click Insert >> Force/Moment load to apply load.

  13. Step 13:

Select the top surface of the bracket and in Z direction input 1000N which ~101Kilograms. Click OK.

  14. Step 14:

Now the force is applied and shown in Yellow colour.

  15. Step 15:

    Click Analysis >> Mechanica Analyses/Studies.

  16. Step 16:

    Click File >> New static.

  26. Step 26:

    Click Insert >> Result window.

  27. Step 27:

    Select Bracket and click open.

  28. Step 28:

    Change stress to displacement.

  29. Step 29:

    Goto display options tab.

  30. Step 30:

Check deformed, show loads & show constraints. Click OK and show.

  31. Step 31:

Now we have the displacement plot in the same window.

  32. Step 32:

    Click Insert >> Result window.

  33. Step 33:

Select bracket file and click open.

  34. Step 34:
