1 0 Beginner
This is part 1 of my tutorial where I will try to explain how to model the base of the pillow block. Resuming I will show you how to: - Define where you want to do your sketch using coincident or parallel planes - Will see how to draw geometries and how to dimension and use geometric relations - Create features using Extruded, Extruded-Cut, Revolve, Revolve-Cut and MIrror - Make a thread hole.

Don't use Solid Edge, but here is how it works in SolidWorks. May be similar enough to help.

How would i go about making a fan and body for a house fan

David, I do not use Solid Edge, but presume it has similar features as SolidWorks. I attached a Tutorial how I would create the blade in SolidWorks. Actually quite simple (so is everything else once you know how... right?). In SolidWorks, you would use the "LOFT" Command. First create a series of parallel planes. On these planes you will create (sketch) a cross section (PROFILE) of segments along the length of your blade. Once you have the profiles created then you utilize the "LOFT" Command to create the blade. For simple sake I just used 4 planes and 4 profiles for the example. Hope this helps.

Profile is not closed error in ST3 sketching
